Ongoing Events

The world-famous Peabody Duck March takes place daily at 11am and 5pm in the Grand Lobby of the South's Grand Hotel. We suggest arriving 30 minutes early to hear the Duckmaster's presentation.

Relax in the "living room of Memphis" while you sip a cocktail, enjoy an appetizer, and watch the Peabody Ducks swim in the Grand Lobby Fountain.

Served in Chez Philippe, this is the only place in Memphis that offers a traditional English Afternoon Tea.

They say The Peabody has 13 stories, but it really has thousands of stories. After the Peabody Ducks have marched, make your way over to the portrait of Mr. Pembroke at the Valet Entrance. The Peabody Duckmaster invites you on an hour-long history tour of the hotel. During the tour, you’ll hear 150 years’ worth of stories about The Peabody, Memphis, and of course... Elvis!

Tour Duration:60 minutes

Tickets: Purchase tickets at the Front Desk.

Cost: $10 per person (children 12 and under are free)

*Tours meet/depart from the portrait of Mr. Pembroke by the valet entrance

Join us on Thursday and Friday evenings in the Corner Bar to hear the musical stylings of Julia Magness with musical accompaniment. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. No ticket purchase or cover charge.

The Peabody Corner Bar Hours
